In 2005 while on maternity leave, Shawna Renee, noticing a void in Talk Radio programming, created Cocoa Mode, a weekly program designed to meet the needs of African American women looking for a place to discuss the issues that matter most in their community. The mission of Cocoa Mode is to celebrate positive images of African American women in arts and entertainment while honoring sisterhood among women of all ages, races and social-economic status. |
