10 Questions to Ask Your Prospective Attorney
1) How many civil jury trail cases have you tired to a verdict?
2. How many jury verdicts have you obtained in excess of one million ($1,000,000) dollars?
3) How many wrongful death cases have you tried? What were the results?
4. What involvement have you had with the trial bars, i.e., CAALA (LATLA), CAOC (CTLA), ABOTA (American Board of Trial Advocacy)?
a. If you are an ABOT A member, what is your rank?
b. Have you held any offices in any of those associations?
5) Have your lectured in the Tort and/or Trial area? If so, explain.
6) Have your published in the Tort and/or Trial area? If so, explain.
7) Have you received any recognition as a trial lawyer from your peers? If so, explain.
8) Do you limit your practice to tort cases?
9) Do you have the financial resources to properly handle my case?
10) Will you commit to personally try my case?
